For most of my career, I've been the person asking myself, "Why are we doing it this way?" and thinking "There has to be better way". The funny thing is, I didn't always have the confidence to say it out loud.
Then, in May 2025, I read Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes. I realized that I had been letting fear make too many of my decisions.
I decided to stop saying NO and to start saying YES to more opportunities. I also made a personal commitment to start living a BIG life. For me living BIG means being Brave, Intentional, and Generous. Some of those "yeses" lead to incredible opportunities. Others didn't work out the way I'd hoped.
And that's okay! I'm still grateful because they have helped me to discover who I'm becoming.
I discovered that I love understanding how businesses work. I love organizing information, improving processes, and building systems that make work easier for the people that need to use them.
That's how A Better Blueprint was born. This site is where I'll document what I'm learning, the solutions I'm building, and the lessons I'm picking up along the way as I grow my skills in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and business analysis.

I was honored to be selected at the College Level representing Clayton State University. The Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) is a prestigious statewide program in Georgia that honors excellence in technical education. It annually recognizes and rewards outstanding students attending the state's technical colleges who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and dedication to their chosen career fields.
